·  WHAT IS IN EACH MONTH'S BOX?

Each month includes handmade samples from a variety of independent businesses. These samples will change monthly as we are constantly finding new businesses to join us. Previous samples have included: votive and tealight candles, candle tarts/melts, soaps, body scrubs, bath bombs, bath melts, hair care, lotions, cosmetics, perfumes, earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, food, teas, coffees, dog/cat treats, pet toys, stationery, magnets, pens, key chains, button pins, hair clips, photography, art prints, bookmarks, gift tags, paper crafts, gift certificates, and more.

Our Boxes will actually be packaged in 6"x6"x4" black boxes with turquoise tissue paper and topped with a turquoise bow and jam-packed with lots of Handmade goodies!

·  DOES EACH BOX FEATURE THE SAME BUSINESSES?

Not usually. Each contributing business sends in a different number of samples, and so most Boxes will have a unique collection. Each Box will not necessarily contain a sample from every contributor listed on the Who's in the Box page on this site, again because of the different number of samples each business submits.

·  DO ALL BOXES HAVE THE SAME NUMBER OF ITEMS?

Yes. It is our goal to make sure that every Box has the same number of items. Some months the boxes may only have 12 items, while other months the boxes will have much more! It all depends on the supply of samples we receive each month. The average number of items per box will always be listed on both the Order page and the Who's in the Box page each month.

 

·  CAN I CHOOSE THE SAMPLES I WANT IN MY BOX?

No. We pre-make our Boxes before they go on sale, so we can ship them out as quickly as possible upon purchase. Each box will have a variety of different items.

·  WILL I KNOW WHICH COMPANIES ARE PARTICIPATING EACH MONTH?

Yes, just check out the Who's in the Box page!

·  WHO IS THE LITTLE BLACK BOX BEST SUITED FOR?

While The Little Black Box is intended for adults, it will often contain items suitable for children, as well as pets! It is best for an adult to go through the Box, keeping a close watch on children and pets so that they don't get into anything they shouldn't!

·  HOW MUCH IS THE LITTLE BLACK BOX?

The Boxes cost $20.00, which includes USPS Priority Mail shipping with Delivery Confirmation. Insurance is optional, but recommended, and is available for an additional $1.75 per Box. Orders from Texas residents will also include 8.25% Sales Tax. <!--Local Customers (Coryell, Bell, or McLennan County residents) will be able to purchase Boxes for $15.00 (plus tax) but must arrange pick-up, as these Boxes will not be shipped.-->

·  WHEN ARE THE BOXES SHIPPED?

Boxes will be shipped within 1 business day of receipt of cleared payment. Boxes purchased by 2pm weekdays / 10am Saturdays will ship same-day; otherwise, Boxes will be shipped next business day.

 

·  CAN I BUY MORE THAN ONE BOX AND SHIP TO DIFFERENT ADDRESSES?

Absolutely! On the Order pages, there are blocks to indicate whether your purchase includes a Gift purchase and the Gift Address if different from the PayPal address (which should be the address of the buyer). Any questions on this, please feel free to contact us!


·  DO YOU SHIP TO CANADA OR INTERNATIONALLY?

Not currently, primarily due to shipping restrictions to various countries and the expense of shipping International packages via Priority Mail so that they can be tracked/insured. However, we may look into adding shipping to Canada soon.

·  CAN I RETURN THE BOX IF I DO NOT LIKE IT?

No, due to the nature of this service, we are unable to accept returns or provide refunds.

·  WHAT IF MY BOX ENDS UP LOST IN THE MAIL?

All Boxes are shipped with Delivery Confirmation and so should be able to be tracked with the USPS. Also, Insurance is optional, but recommended, and is an additional $1.75 per Box. In the event that an Uninsured Box goes completely missing and all USPS resources are exhausted in trying to locate the Box, we will refund the purchase price minus the cost of shipping. Lost Boxes will not be replaced.
