Bet you never thought you'd end up with some a product by Chunky Butt Candles. Yep, that's their name! Clever and oh so cool, huh? A little strange, but strange is good! I proudly have my Chunky Butt scrub and body frosting sitting on my desk and I don't care if I get funny looks. I know how good this stuff is. These samples are divine!

Jennifer, of Aromalite, knows how to do samples. She does samples so well that she could have her own sample making business and impress the masses. She most certainly doesn't mess around and when you see what I'm talking about you'll oooohh and aaaahhh like I did. She doesn't even have to compete. We had some leftovers from June so hopefully these will make it into the hands of the people who didn't get to try them.

Barb, of Barb's Homemade Soaps, is a veteran to the boxes. She plays hard and knows how you like your samples. You like them BIG! You also like them to smell good which is exactly how they do. My personal favorite is the Vanilla Bean full size bar of soap. Delish!

Kreations by Kathie graciously sent us bath bomb samples last month and we had some leftovers so you'll get to play with these again this month. This was her first time trying to make these. They only get better with time!

 

Think really hard. How many times have you received a gift and not given a thank you card? Or how many times have you had someone give you something and then decided to do something kind in return? Well, you're in luck! Tags and Buttons has sent us a bunch of small thank you cards that are perfect to attach to the special something or to tuck in a drawer for that moment that you need to say thank you and couldn't find the right way to say it. This afternoon I was showered in goodness from Holly's Designs. Little monster cell phone charms in all sorts of different characters as well as some earrings and a few lanyards. Personally I've been looking for a cool lanyard so now I know exactly where I can get a neat looking one!

 

This is a first for the LBB! Midnight Creations sent in adorable travel tissue covers that are great and ready to go by just tucking into your pursue, backpack, or tote. I love the high heal fabric as well. This was such a clever way to promote a business that makes totes, purses, and wristlets without getting too expensive. Way to Sandy! You will love these!

 

Lots of really great stuff arrived tucked into an envelope today from Designs by Tami. Lots of pendants and cool magnets. You'll find many more items in her shop both on Etsy and on the web. If you enter "etsy10" at checkout you'll even get 10% off you next order. That's fabulous!

 

Joining us from Hawaii this month is Starrlight Jewelry who sent us some amazing promos for her business. How about a pair of very delicate earrings in a tiny black jewelry box. I know that these will be a hit and because she sent quite a few of them many of you will get to check these out and hopefully add this business to your list for shopping this holiday season!

 

Soap Scent-sations came up with a VERY cool way of advertising their scents for their first time in the boxes. How about a clamshell with each cube being a different scent! You each get to sample 6 different scents and they are all labeled so that you can easily find which scent is which. Gotta love this!

 

Janna, and her jewelry, joined us last month with 10 pairs of extra special earrings and this month she's back with another 10 pairs. Only a choice few of you will get to check these out. Jewelry is a difficult craft to promo as it's expensive and it takes a lot of time to create. I hope that those of you that get a pair of these will send Janna some love even if you aren't making a purchase. Let her know what you think of her items. These really are nice!

 

You know something is cool when your husband walks into your office and grabs a promo item off your desk and tells you it's the coolest thing he's ever seen in the boxes. I'm seriously stunned! Bin Hog's owner, Rita, is a flight attendant who came up with the most practical item I've ever laid my eyes on. How many times have you been picking up your luggage at the airport only to pick up someone elses? Bin Hog will solve your problem! Check these out!

 

Another 1st for the boxes! This time fine art photography. I'm always looking for a way to dress up my home and 3 Lamb Design graciously printed off multiple prints for your to enjoy and admire. Ok, seriously! July is going to be the best month ever. Wendy Conrad sent us adorable homemade cards that are so cute and very witty. I can't even explain how wonderful these are and this is the type of promo that will totally be used. Check out her shop for an idea of what I'm talking about.

 

It just gets better and better! Cathy, of Made With Loving Hands, most certainly used loving hands on these hand dyed silk scarves! You'll go nuts when you see these.. I promise!

 

Grrrr.. It's talk like a pirate day at Soap Sushi. How about some pirate booty soap favors scented in Berry Bling? These are totally neat and packaged very nicely. The scent is very strong and fruity. Great stuff in their shop as well. RUN to Soap Sushi and check out everything.

 

As much as Diana would have loved sending in a few of her $750 dollar paintings for all of you she couldn't. Instead she got creative.. ok, more creative then she already is and did up super neat bookmarks. We all read! How about using some cool art to mark that place you left off in your book. Great promo item!

 

We were graciously sent many bars of full size soap from The Soap Seduction for our promo boxes. My personal favorite is the Neapolitan ones. Wow! They are an exact true scent that is very strong. I know I have lots of fans of the boxes that will kill for these full size bars!

 

I love sites like this! I found Velvet Moon Bathery through Livejournal and I'm pretty stoked that I did. For the Madame who prefers the darker side of things with an elegant yet macabre touch,you will gladly enjoy indulging in Dark Victorian, Gothic Boudoir themed soaps and sensual hand blended perfumes. Divine!

NO cheap fillers, NO chemicals, NO synthetic dyes (the culprits for most allergic reactions), & NO preservatives. We were sent good sized eye shadow samples in jars. Great job!

 

This morning a giant box full of Luscious Lime scented body lotions and body wash arrived here in the office. I love how great they are presented and the scent is really great. I love finding new bath and body businesses too! Especially ones with such great products.

 

A few boxes of different types of jewelry arrived yesterday. My favorite being this lovely turquoise large teardrop pendant. It truly took my breathe away when I saw it. I'm only sad that there weren't more promos for you to all enjoy. Jewelry is so expensive to recreate but those of you that do get something from Clearscape Studios will be very lucky!

 

I can doodle.. but can not draw. I can't even draw a stick figure well. Thank goodness for creative people especially ones that are creative enough to paint, design and draw. Thankfully DAMdesigns can create unique and original art that you can enjoy and you can really tell she pours her heart and soul into this. Very neat!

 

Beautiful cards with work from Laurie Ryan arrived today. They are note cards with a special extra added touch. They each contain a special photograph that Laurie took herself with the notecard. It's a very clever idea and great for marketing your art. My favorite is the one with the clouds on the front of it.

 

Woof! Hope you are looking forward to making those dogs happy! We have a got a treat for you! Err.. ok... we have got a treat for your dog! I love having another first. How about a Hardy Breakfast dog treat? When I opened my mail this afternoon I kept smelling something familiar but I wasn't sure what it was. I got to the dog treats and it all made sense! You guys are going to jump for joy when you see these.

 

Nocturne Alchemy sent us 70 skarabs which arrived today. I know that I have a ton of people who buy the boxes that really enjoy the perfume oil companies. This one is another one to add to your list. Hippie Dippy sent us amazing hand crafted facial scrubbies for our boxes this month. It's hard to create anything big when you make crocheted items and these facial scrubbies are totally the next best thing. They work too! I have one in my shower from a different business. I love that they are all natural and really colorful too!

 

Five Dot Design sent in little prepacked packages of stationary to enjoy. They encourage making your correspondence pieces a little more personal. All note cards come packaged with a coordinating envelope and are cute beyond belief. These are so generous!
